FYI: You’re allowed to have anxiety and enjoy your life

by Hannah Smith June 14, 2018
    June 14, 2018

Some days I worry that I talk and write about my anxiety too much. Ha. Imagine that. Me getting worried about something. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ My dad from time-to-time has said to me, my mum and anyone else who’s been overreacting that we’re…

    Bullies can bite me

by Hannah Smith February 28, 2018
    February 28, 2018

I fucking hate bullies. I’ll be straight up in saying I was no saint in school. I desperately wanted to be a part of the cool crowd through primary school and into high school, and as a result I definitely…

    Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals

by Hannah Smith December 18, 2017
    December 18, 2017

I bloody love Christmas. I love all of it. The chaos, the family time, the Christmas carols, all of the lights (sing like Yeezy) and the copious amounts of food. Oh my lordy, the food. Christmas is my favourite time…

For anyone going through a a difficult time right For anyone going through a a difficult time right now, whether it be a rough patch, a life-changing experience, a plateau … anything. May this be a reminder that you are capable of amazing things, and it’s okay if things don’t always go to plan. It’s okay if things get put on hold.

Life will throw all sorts of things our way. If you have to take a break from the work right now, don’t worry. It’ll be here when you get back. Take care of yourself first💫

My partner reminded me last night that it’d been My partner reminded me last night that it’d been a year since Hazy Love was released.

A whole year.

Reminiscing brought on a lot of feelings that I’m still processing, hence the late post. I’m proud of what I’ve achieved, but disappointed that my second book is still not out. Being a slow writer leads to a constant battle of emotions and I’m still figuring out how to not beat myself up.

At the end of the day, despite the struggles, I’m grateful. Thank you to every single person who’s shared, liked, bought, borrowed and reviewed my debut novel. It means more than you know✨
