All I want for Christmas is to eat and drink everything without consequences

by Hannah Smith December 16, 2019
    December 16, 2019

I couldn’t tell you how many blog posts, Instagram posts and stories I’ve shared about my struggles with body image. And not just body image. I mean, the entire journey that is dealing with the body: fitness, my relationship with…

    Let’s talk: Body image

by Hannah Smith July 3, 2019
    July 3, 2019

Body image is something I’ve been struggling with for as long as I can remember. How about you? I’ve been obsessed with looking the way I thought I should look since primary school. Back when this all started for me,…

I went stand-up paddle boarding and didn’t die

by Hannah Smith January 6, 2019
    January 6, 2019

I went stand-up paddle boarding for the first time today. IKR. The activity that people have been doing since the 1940s; the one that people do with their dogs onboard; the one that apparently even the most balanced-challenged have been…

What to do when you get a train strain

by Hannah Smith September 10, 2018

I recently took a week off from training. I was so stressed out about a launch at work, my eye twitch was out of control and I was sick of not having enough time for things I wanted to do,…

by Hannah Smith July 27, 2018
    July 27, 2018

I can’t believe we made it (sing like Beyonce in Apeshit). It’s Day 18. This is the reboot wrap-up post guys. I made it, and I can actually write it knowing that I gave it a bloody good crack. First…

    Nothing changes if nothing changes

by Hannah Smith July 15, 2018
    July 15, 2018

I was getting so sick of myself, I decided to take some drastic measures. By drastic, I mean: I needed to do something that would stop me from eating like a god damn horse and get my health in motherfucking…

    Armchair expert: 2018 Winter Olympics

by Hannah Smith February 21, 2018
    February 21, 2018

Ya’ll need to get around the winter Olympics. I actually feel guilty that I took zero interest in it until a few days ago. I should’ve been watching from the get-go. Not to take away from Olympians or athletes in…

Because I’m all about that weight, anxiety and good memories

by Hannah Smith September 23, 2017
    September 23, 2017

So, I’ve gained at least five kilos over my holiday. And let me tell you, it’s not muscle or water-weight. It’s beer-bacon-carb-weight. As I type this, I am pool-side. You’re welcome. The South China sea is to my right and…

This photo was taken almost four years ago when I This photo was taken almost four years ago when I was brainstorming/plotting/planning my first novel. Josh came in and said he wanted to take a snap so I could look back and remember how far I’d come with my writing.

Some days I think about how I’m not where I want to be, but when I look at photos like this, I remember I reached that goal. I’ve published a book. My sequel is currently with beta readers and my third book is already half written.

Sometimes looking back is a good thing. So are Sons of Anarchy pants straight from #tarinkowt 🖤
