    Book review: Running Wild

by Hannah Smith January 25, 2022
    January 25, 2022

*Some minor spoilers ensue I’ve only ever welled up with one book before. It was Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover, and it was the second time I read it. It was last year when I was experiencing burnout, the pandemic…

    Book Review: One Tiny Lie

by Hannah Smith October 23, 2020
    October 23, 2020

Do you love yourself an addictive contemporary romance? Because same. I don’t know why it’s taken me a pandemic to get on board with the Ten Tiny Breaths series, but I’m not mad about it (I mean, I’m not mad…

A quick guide to visiting one street in Mooloolaba

by Hannah Smith October 1, 2020
    October 1, 2020

Given the shitshow that has been the year 2020, I feel very lucky to have managed a lovely, albeit brief, getaway. My partner and I decided to spend four nights in Mooloolaba, Queensland. We chose somewhere within driving distance because…

I’ve spent $132.75 on the After franchise, so Lord help me

by Hannah Smith October 30, 2019
    October 30, 2019

I am a 30-year-old woman OBSESSED with an adult romance book series. #noshame. Well, maybe a little bit of a shame. I can’t deny that my level of infatuation and interest in Anna Todd’s book series After might be slightly unhealthy.…

Book review: Say You Still Love Me

by Hannah Smith September 23, 2019
    September 23, 2019

I have no shame in letting the world know I am now a romantic-novel whore-bag. Contemporary romance if I’ve being super specific, but really, any romance will suffice. And there’s no shame in that. NONE. When I went to the…

    Book review: The Simple Wild

by Hannah Smith August 26, 2019
    August 26, 2019

The Simple Wild was everything I look for in a novel, but never knew I was searching for … if that makes some sort of sense. The Plot (Blurb taken from the back of the book) Calla Fletcher wasn’t even…

C U Next Tuesday on the Bachelor

by Hannah Smith August 18, 2019
    August 18, 2019

It goes without saying (and yet I need to say it) that what I write in this post, or anything I say about The Bachelor in general, is taken with a grain of salt. We all know it’s a television…

The Bachelor Australia: I think I’m here for it

by Hannah Smith August 4, 2019
    August 4, 2019

I think I’m in for this year’s Bachelor Australia. I’ve been playing catch-up thanks to Ten Play as I was busy stuffing my face in the land of pizza and pasta when the season aired. Whilst I usually hate the…

Review: A really late run-down of the Game of Thrones finale

by Hannah Smith June 19, 2019
    June 19, 2019

It should be noted: I am not a hardcore fan, never was a hardcore fan and I don’t really know the intricacies of the character’s relations/storylines. So don’t be coming at me with your pitchforks if I get my wires…

    Restaurant Review: room81

by Hannah Smith March 24, 2019
    March 24, 2019

I decided to take my partner to a fine-dining restaurant for his birthday recently. Anyone that knows Josh, would know that he’s a birthday-month kind of man and he loves to celebrate BIG. I decided to spoil him (and myself)…

This photo was taken almost four years ago when I This photo was taken almost four years ago when I was brainstorming/plotting/planning my first novel. Josh came in and said he wanted to take a snap so I could look back and remember how far I’d come with my writing.

Some days I think about how I’m not where I want to be, but when I look at photos like this, I remember I reached that goal. I’ve published a book. My sequel is currently with beta readers and my third book is already half written.

Sometimes looking back is a good thing. So are Sons of Anarchy pants straight from #tarinkowt 🖤
